about

Morgan’s artistic journey began with an extensive dance career performing and touring with Paula Abdul, Janet Jackson, Donna Summer and Dirty Dancing (hey, it was the 80’s…) she was also one of LA’s quintessential Laker Girls.

Post pom-poms, Morgan directed a slew of karaoke videos which launched her music video career, she created upwards of 70 videos for artists across musical genres—Digable Planets, Jill Sobule, 4 Non Blonds, Goo Goo Dolls, Charlie Sexton, Trisha Yearwood, Alan Jackson, Jo Dee Messina, Gary Allan and the list goes on. Her videos were always in heavy rotation garnering MTV, Billboard, and CMT nominations and awards. Her “MY Moment” video for controversial YouTube phenomenon Rebecca black garnered over 70 million views.

Morgan’s directorial style ranges from urban to whimsical to highly stylized. She’s known for making women look beautiful which led to a hugely successful run in girls advertising with clients including American Girl, Mattel, Hasbro, Disney & Spin Master.  Her diverse knowledge of dance, fashion, design, photography and storytelling allows her to infuse each project with a unique and distinct look. Morgan continues to create memorable visuals that develop, support, and enhance brands like Invisalign, HealthNet , Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Comcast.

Ms. Lawley is currently turning her vision  toward long form with the development of the unscripted travel fashion show Style on the Streets with Lily Gatins.  Lily is an avant-garde street style artist who travels the globe discovering amazing designers and showcasing them at Fashion Weeks.

A long time member of the Directors Guild of America, Morgan now lives in Atlanta with her daughter Ruby.
